19-year old woman killed in car crash with fire truck

A 19-year old woman was recently killed in a fatal car accident that took place northeast of San Diego. The details of the incident are still being investigated, but the 44-year old man who was driving the car that caused the collision insists that it was not his fault. The crash took place in the early morning hours when the man failed to see a fire truck in an intersection. His car collided with the fire truck which crushed the man’s car. The man was wrenched out of the car and survived, but his passenger lost her life in the fatal accident.

Birth injury leads to $5.25 million dollar settlement

In the United States, approximately four million babies are born each year. While the vast majority of pregnant women in San Diego and across the country have normal, healthy deliveries, occasionally problems occur. A child who is injured at birth due to an error during delivery may suffer lifelong development problems or other debilitating difficulties. Indeed, when birth injuries are severe, there is often no way to reverse the damage, and families must incur the stress and expense of a special needs child.
